Take a step back in time at Edison & Ford Winter Estates in Ford Winter Estates in Fort Myers. Arguably, these two renowned inventors put Fort Myers on the map and their historical winter sanctuary has been preserved for locals and tourists to admire. The 20-acre estate includes many buildings, gardens, and Edison’s Botanical Laboratory. This weekend, February 10-11, you can enjoy their Annual Spring Garden Festival. Admission is free for the festival. Estate tours not included.

Food truck parks are taking over. And I’m here for it. The latest addition to the scene is Backyard Social, tucked away off of Ben Hill Griffin Parkway in Fort Myers. Offering a variety of food trucks, large covered bar area, and an Instagram worthy atmosphere, it’s sure to be a new hot spot.
